These arresters are recommended for use in the Lightning Protection Zones Concept at the boundaries of LPZ 1-2 (according to IEC 1312-1 and EN 62305) for equipotential bonding and elimination of transient over voltages that originate during atmospheric discharges or switching processes.

Complete device consists of a base part and pluggable module.

Protection mode: L/N-PE.

Installation:

• The line of surge arresters includes a full range of compact protectors for installation on DIN rail.

• For proper operation between type 1 and type 2 arresters at least 10- 15 m cable or wire must be otherwise a decoupling coil have to install between the two devices.

• Green tab, normal work status, Red tab, failure status, need to be replaced rapidly.

• Installation must be performed only by electrically skilled operator

• If protector is to be located outdoors and exposed to elements, mount protector inside a suitable weatherproof enclosure.
