Surge Protector Application

With the rapid development of electronic technology, more attention has been paid to lightning strikes in construction. Thus, more overvoltage protection products into the market, the Surge Protective Device (SPD) is also becoming familiar to people.

Surge Protective Devices (SPD)

Surge Protective Devices (SPD) are used to protect the electrical installation, which consists of the consumer unit, wiring and accessories, from electrical power surges known as transient overvoltage.

IEC 61643-31 Low-voltage surge protective devices – Part 31: Requirements and test methods for SPDs for photovoltaic installations

This British Standard is the UK implementation of EN 61643‑31:2019. It is derived from IEC 61643‑31:2018.

Understanding Surge Protection Devices (SPDs)

Today’s world is full of electronic products and electrical devices that are susceptible to damage from overvoltage surges

Surge protection devices for industrial applications

Today’s industrial and professional equipment is dependent upon microprocessors and other sensitive electronic equipment, increasing the world’s need for greater protection from electrical surges.

SURGE CIRCUIT BREAKERS (SCB)

BRITEC Surge Circuit Breakers (SCB) are an over current protection device specially designed for the protection of parallel connected single port AC power line surge protectors

Protection Measures of Inductive Lightning in SPC Exchange

Power communication is an indispensable and important part of modern power system and one of the three pillars for the safe and stable operation of modern power grid. SPC Exchange is an important part of power communication network.

Protect PoE Devices from Power Surges and Other Disruptions

Surges are spontaneous, transient overvoltage events that occur in electrical systems and powered electronic devices.

Lightning protection of low-voltage power distribution system in buildings

Lightning disasters mainly include direct lightning strikes, lightning electrostatic induction, and lightning electromagnetic pulses.
